Setting System Preferences

Using Setup (gear icon)  -> [Specific] Sub-menu like User & Employee Portal, customers can define specific system preferences.  These preferences control behaviour of specific modules in the system.Only site administrators can access this section.  Approach this section with caution, as setting a wrong value can have unintended consequences.  In case of doubt, it is safer to not define a system preference.For example, defining a system preference default.pto.allowance with value 15 will ensure that every user that is newly created in the system will have default PTO allowance of 15.
