ClayHR’s integration with KnowledgeCity allows organizations to seamlessly connect their HR system with the learning management platform, streamlining employee learning and training processes. This integration is designed to simplify and automate workflows, including:

• Learning Data Synchronization (Pull): Automatically retrieve learning and learning assignments from KnowledgeCity into ClayHR, ensuring that employee training records are accurate and up-to-date.
  
• Learning Assignment Synchronization (Push): Effortlessly push learning assignments created in ClayHR into KnowledgeCity, enabling employees to access assigned courses and training without manual intervention.

By leveraging this integration, organizations can eliminate duplicate data entry, reduce errors, and maintain consistency between ClayHR and KnowledgeCity, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning management experience.

How to set up the integration

To configure the integration in third-party integrations, follow these steps:

1. Go to Third-Party Integrations under the Setup menu.
   

2. Click the New Integration button to begin setting up the KnowledgeCity integration. 
3. From the Integration Type dropdown menu, select LMS. A list of available integrations will appear—choose KnowledgeCity from the list.

4. Fill in the required fields: Host, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret. Save the integration after entering all details.

5. Click Add Post Function button to configure the push/pull operations associated with the integration.
   

6. The operations you save will be listed in the Pull/Push Functions table, providing a clear overview of the actions linked to your integration.

• Pull function (Function to pull learning data from KnowledgeCity)

Pull Learnings & Assignments from KnowledgeCity

To pull learnings and assignments from KnowledgeCity, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Skills & Talent Hub menu and select Learnings.
   

      2.Click on the All Learnings link.

3. On the Learning Home page, click on the Sync with KnowledgeCity link to pull learnings and assignments from KnowledgeCity.

4. Once the learning data has been successfully pulled, a confirmation message will appear, indicating that the operation was completed successfully.
   

      Failure Conditions: 

• Missing or incorrect values in Host, Consumer Key, or Consumer Secret.
• The pull post function for the training object is not configured.

‍Push Learning Assignments to KnowledgeCity‍

To push learning assignments to KnowledgeCity, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Skills & Talent Hub menu and select Learnings.
   

      2. Click on the All Learnings link.

      3. On the Learning Home page, select the learning for which you want to create and           push assignments to KnowledgeCity.

      4. In the Assignment tab, click on the Assign Learning to User button to create an           assignment.

      5. Once the assignment is created, it will be automatically synced with           KnowledgeCity.

Failure Conditions:

• Missing or incorrect values in Host, Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, or App ID.
• The push post function for the user training object is not configured in the integration.
• The KnowledgeCity User ID custom field value is missing for the user for whom the learning assignment is being created.
