Steps to generate custom learning certificate
- Add certificate template under document library with topic as ‘TR’.
- Certificate Text Alignment: There are two types of text alignment options available in the certificate.
- Left Text Alignment
- In the certificate section of the Learning View page, if the "Left Text Alignment" option is selected, the template PDF should include the following placeholders: {{firstname}} {{lastname}},{{courseCompletedByEmployee}}, {{totalHours}}, and {{completionDate}}. These placeholders will be dynamically replaced with the user's name, course name, total hours, and completion date, respectively. The certificate template must be generated using iText.
- For left aligned certificates, the text within the template should be aligned to the left.

- Middle Text Alignment
- In the certificate section of the Learning View page, if the "Middle Text Alignment" option is selected then template should contain {{concatenatedFirstNameandLastNameOfTheUser}}, {{learningCourseNameUserCompletedWhileAttemptingAssignedLearningCourse}}, {{totalHours}}, {{completionDateOfTheLearnings}}. These fields will be replaced by the user’s name, course name, total hours, and completion date respectively. The template should be a pdf file generated by iText.For middle aligned certificates, the text within the template should be aligned to the middle.
- For middle aligned certificates, the text within the template should be aligned to the middle.
- In the ‘Certificate’ section of the Learning View page, you can choose a template for a specific learning and upload a background image.
- To generate a certificate upon Learning completion, the toggle allowing users to generate the certificate shown in the image must be turned on.
- While completing a course in the ‘My Learning’ section, you can generate a certificate once the Learning is completed.
- Final certificate for the user.
- In case no certificate template is selected, then the default template will be used.
